Library seeks community input

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Peter White Public Library in Marquette is working to revitalize its look and services. They're asking for input on changes you'd like to see.

Monday, the library held a public forum where library patrons spoke about changes and modifications they'd like to see in the library.

Patrons suggested creating an online system for reserving conference rooms, installing online check out kiosks and different ideas about making meeting spaces more appealing to non-profits.

"Basically that's what we're doing, just talking to people, gathering information and trying to make it as community-oriented for Marquette as possible," said Kimberly Bolan Cullin, President and Principal Consultant with Kimberly Bolan and Associates, LLC.

Next, the library is asking patrons to take a survey ranking the importance of different physical spaces in the library. To take the survey, visit this website.
