Ironwood man sentenced to prison for involuntary manslaughter

GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (WLUC) - An Ironwood man has been sentenced to prison for involuntary manslaughter.

37-year-old Bo Menara was sentenced to 5 to 10 years for Controlled Substance Delivery and 5-15 years for Involuntary Manslaughter. His sentences are to be served concurrently.

Menara also received credit for 289 days already served.

Menara’s charges stem from Angela Mylly’s death in September of last year. Mylly was found unresponsive by police and her death was believed to be caused by an excessive dose of morphine.
