IRON RIVER, Mich. (WLUC) - The Iron County Fair is celebrating its 26th year this weekend. The fair kicked-off on Thursday and runs through the weekend.
Rides, music, animals, and more are on-hand at this year’s fair. There are even a few new events this year.
“This time on Sunday, for the first time for us, is tricycle races,” Iron County Fair Board Manager Carrie Nelson said. “We start letting the little people ride them and then it goes up by age all the way to adults. Adults are going to try to get to ride the tricycles. We've been testing it; it's been working pretty good.”
The fair is open on Friday until 10 p.m. CT. You can see live music and kiddie demo races.
Over the weekend, the fair will have their livestock auction, and a demolition derby, along with many other attractions. For a full schedule of events click here.
