BESSEMER, Mich. (WLUC) - A Bessemer resident has been arrested after what police are calling a hit and run.
At 2:17 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to 2nd Avenue in Bessemer for a report of an injured 33-year-old man.
The Gogebic County Sheriff's Office says the initial investigation shows the man was hit by a motor vehicle which had left the scene.
At 3:36 p.m. Thursday, deputies got a search warrant and arrested a 27-year-old Bessemer resident on multiple charges. The suspect's name has not been released pending arraignment.
The man who was injured was taken by ambulance to the hospital. There's no word on his condition.
