GWINN, Mich. (WLUC) - Gwinn High School welcomed the community to visit over 45 vendors and 7 chili creators at the Fifth Annual Wellness Fair and Chili Cook-Off.
Organizer Barbi Ward-Thomas said she started the event to give back to her community.
Visitors were able to sample seven different chilis, including three from professional teams, all while visiting booths meant to encourage personal wellness.
"When I talk about wellness, I talk about all kinds of wellness, financial wellness, we have banks and credit unions here, we have mental wellness, we have social wellness we have physical wellness, emotional wellness, it goes all across the board," Wellness Fair Organizer Barbie Ward-Thomas said.
Exhibits at the fair included, health care professionals, hair styling booths, and a police driving simulator.
