MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - The Fresh Coast Film Festival will be back again at the end of this month for their second year. The festival will run for four days and feature 120 different films.
All movies are documentaries showcasing the outdoors ranging from turtle rehabilitation to Standing Rock
There will also be tours offered around the area over the weekend, including yoga, hiking, and even rock climbing.
“We’ve grown the festival, but then we're also growing the audience as well,” Festival Director Aaron Peterson said. “It should feel about the same as last year. Seating is limited. We use small casual venues like Blackrocks, the Ore Dock, [and] the Delft. If you want to check this out, you should definitely get online and get a pass as soon as possible.”
The festival runs Thursday, October 19th, through Sunday, October 22nd. Fresh Coast is also looking for more volunteers.
Tickets can be purchased here and to volunteer, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
