Finlandia men's hockey team snaps 59-game winless streak

HANCOCK, Mich. (WLUC) - Finlandia University's men's hockey team won Tuesday night, the team's first victory since Nov. 20, 2015.

The 2-1 win against UW-Superior at the Houghton County Arena ended a streak of 59 consecutive non-wins for the Lions. Finlandia went 0-58-1 since the Nov. 20, 2015 win.

Sophomore Blake Peavey and junior Avery Huibregtse scored for the Lions Tuesday night. Freshman Marcus Gloss made 30 saves.
