IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - Crispigna's Italian Market of Iron Mountain is in high gear preparing the Italian Fest Saturday.
They have been prepping food for the past week in order to get ready for the annual festival. Between pasta, sandwiches, and other Italian dishes Crispigna's will have more than a couple hundred pounds of food available for festival goers to eat.
“265 pounds of meat, that's between Italian sausage, Italian meatballs, we've got chicken breasts that we'll be using for a chicken parmesan sandwich,” said Jodi Formolo, Business Partner Crispigna’s Italian Market.
Along with all of this food will be music, dancing, and other activities. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. central time. Admission is $6. Kids 12 and under can get in for free.
