MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - An art show featuring art from those suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or memory loss took place Wednesday evening in the Messiah Lutheran Church of Marquette.
This open house showcased work from participants in Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice's Adult Day Services program. Those attending were able to enjoy the art, light refreshments, and music from TV6's Andrew LaCombe. The art comes from Lake Superior Adult Day Services art program.
“We have music and drumming and a whole different range of activities for our participants, but this is one of the nicest ones because we can really show off what some of our participants are able to do,” said Sue Kitti, CEO of Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice.
