MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Tickets for the U.P. 200 Mush Bus are still available.
The Mush Bus gives race fans the opportunity to drive to Grand Marais to cheer on the sled dog teams as they come in to the half-way checkpoint.
This year, organizers rented a full-size, 56 passenger coach bus to accomodate all the U.P. 200 fans.
"This year will be quite a comfortable bus and I need not say too much for people who know but our tour guide this year is John DePetro our former mayorand if any of you know John he's a fun time and I've heard that his tour is quite humorous," Mush Bus Organizer Pat Torreano said.
The bus leaves Marquette at 11:00 on Saturday morning, heads to the Falling Rock Cafe in Munising to pick up more race fans, then heads on to Grand Marais.
The tour is expected to be back in Marquette by 6:30.
Tickets are available at the U.P. 200 Merchandise Desk at their headquarters in the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
