Cassie Laine joined the TV6 Morning News team in August, 2015. She earned her bachelor's degree in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences with an Emphasis in Meteorology and a minor in broadcast from St. Cloud State University in May of 2015.
While at SCSU Cassie was the chief meteorologist at UTVS, the student run TV Station. With this she had the opportunity to work on award winning newscasts including sports cast on Fox Sports North during the SCSU hockey games.
Cassie interned at Kare11 in the morning show, so she is excited to start her career with the morning team here at TV6. She has been enjoying all the waterfalls in the U.P. and is always looking for new adventures. If you see Cassie out and about in the U.P. say hello!
