Upper Great Lakes Palliative Care and Hospice Conference

This year’s conference, “People, Passion, Purpose: Creating the Connection”, is a two-day educational and professional networking conference which brings together physicians, nurses, social workers, and caregivers. The conference starts on October 24th with pre-conference caregiver and clinical tracks in the morning. The official conference starts that afternoon and continues with a full second day on Wednesday, the 25th.

Recognized expert local, regional and national speakers cover a variety of topics including grief, legal tools, pain management, ethics and advance care planning, alternative treatments, delivering bad news, and compassion, hope and resilience.
