Special Film Presentation--No Letting Go

On Thursday, February 8 at 7:00 pm, the Peter White Public Library will host a special film presentation of the 2015 movie No Letting Go.

NO LETTING GO—A poignant yet elevating drama about a young boy’s mental illness and how it shapes the course of his life as well as the lives of his family members. This film is brought to you in partnership with The Youth Mental Health Project. YMHPROJECT.ORG. Directed by Jonathan D. Bucari and starring Cheryl Allison, Richard Bucari and David Schallipp, it is rated TV- PG and runs 1 hours and 44 minutes.

Career and Technical Education Month®, or CTE Month®, is a public awareness campaign taking place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country.

One way we are celebrating CTE month in Marquette and Alger Counties this February is by recognizing teachers, students, individuals and community organizations who enhance CTE by contributing to the improvement, promotion, development, quality and progress of CTE. The Marquette Alger CTE committee, whose main focus is helping young people make the best possible career decisions, is sponsoring these awards. In addition to the aforementioned categories, students presenting the best showcase display and poster design at their schools will also be recognized.

This drop-in opportunity is for those having problems with their laptops, e-readers, tablets, phones or other digital devices. No appointment is necessary and there is no charge for this service.
