Unrest ME/CFS Documentary Screening

Event Dates and Times

1/4/2017 - Starts: 6:00 PM
Peter White Public Library Community Room
Unrest tells the first-person story of Jennifer and her husband, Omar, newlyweds grappling with how to live in the face of a debilitating lifelong illness. It is also a global story about an international community of patients with a serious, life-altering illness — millions suffering invisibly and left at the margins of medicine and science.
Time for Unrest is a social impact campaign which aims to increase the public’s knowledge of this little known disease, mobilize the patient and ally community, encourage empathetic care from medical practitioners, and encourage more research in countries throughout the world.
A brief Q&A session will directly follow the screening.
My name is Kelly Parks, I am from Marquette MI., but live in Berlin, Germany. I will be coming home for the holiday season and hosting the screening event. Email would be the easiest way to contact me.
