Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties, offers a Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Navigation Program, WISEWOMAN, & Women's Health Clinic to help women with or without insurance receive life saving cancer and heart health screenings. Services may include: A clinical breast exam and mammogram, pelvic exam and Pap test, blood pressure screening, and cholesterol and glucose screening (for WISEWOMAN clients only). Upcoming Escanaba clinic dates: Jan. 26, Feb. 23, March 21 and Menominee clinic dates: Feb. 7, March 16. Early detection saves lives! The recently re-established Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force (UPHTTF) has teamed together with the Department of Justice and Michigan State Police to bring Human Trafficking Community Awareness to the UP during Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

Featured speakers include, Leslie Hagen from the Department of Justice, SA Todd Wilton ICE/HIS, and local MSP Community Troopers, Elisabeth Alquist, Iron Mountain Police Department Victim Advocate, Cheryl O’Neil Executive Director Caring House INC, and Stephanie Krieger s7Consulting.

There will be time for Q & A after each presentation and a brief invite to any participants to join the UPHTTF by the current Task Force Group Leader/Administrator Marlene Mottes Victim Advocate from the Department of Justice, United States Attorney's Office, Western District of Michigan Marquette Office.

Social work and Registered Nurse CE's will be available for an additional fee. Light refreshments will be served.
