Ashley Palumbo Bureau Reporter
apalumbo@wluctv6.com
Ashley joined the TV6 team in July 2009 as the Houghton/Hancock bureau reporter.
A Massachusetts native, Ashley is no stranger to white winters. She grew up in the small town of Sutton and graduated from Boston University with a BS in broadcast journalism in May 2008. While at BU, Ashley did internships in Worcester, Buffalo, Providence and Boston. She also worked as an anchor and reporter for Inside Boston, a news magazine show. After college Ashley got her professional start in journalism, working as a freelance reporter for WCTR TV3 in Worcester, MA.
Ashley is excited to be living in the Keweenaw Peninsula and is eager to experience everything the area has to offer - even the snow! She recently took up skiing and is looking forward to perfecting this skill over the long winter. Her motto is: if it's going to be cold it might as well be snowing!
Ashley enjoys reading, scrapbooking and staying active. She spends any other free time catching up with family and friends back home or rooting for her favorite Boston sports teams, the Red Sox and the Celtics.
