A Michigan native, Elizabeth was born and raised in the Lower Peninsula, in the small town of Marne. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2003, with a degree in broadcast journalism.
For nearly four years, beginning in 2005 Elizabeth co-anchored the TV6 Early News and News Extra. In May of 2008, Elizabeth's family grew when she, her husband and her daughter welcomed a baby boy to the family. It was then that she decided it was time to take a break and spend time at home. Elizabeth returned to TV6 in April of 2009, joining the morning news team as a producer and reporter.
Elizabeth says, "I couldn't be happier working at TV6. It's because of the people in the Upper Peninsula that I love my job." "The way they've embraced me and my family... I've always felt welcome here and I am very proud to live and work in this community." She says she is honored to be here, sharing stories each and every night. She is most proud of the stories she has done that have made an impact on the people and communities around her.
She thanks her husband for his support... they both feel their decision to move back to the Upper Peninsula was one of their best. In their spare time they enjoy hiking, biking, running, camping, kayaking, snowboarding, traveling and anything else they can do outside!
