Jeni received a bachelor's degree in communication form Spring Arbor University in May of 2004.
Jeni knew she wanted to be a writer at a very young age, and started writing sports and news stories for a county newspaper when she was thirteen. Most recently, Jeni interned with FOX NewsChannel in Washington, D.C., and hopes to return to the Capitol City someday to report.
Jeni grew up in northern lower Michigan, near the Jordan River Valley, and says moving to the most scenic part of the Upper Peninsula was like staying in her backyard. In her spare time, she enjoys taking in the view from Brockway Mountain Drive, swimming in Lake Superior, and cheering on Michigan State's basketball teams.
